If Jesus prayed (alone), then there is no way that you and I can get strength without having our quality time with God. The truth is, we are a big zero without His grace and mercy.
“Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me…” (Luke 22: 42a).
We pray this kind of prayer most of the times in our lives. After saying this, Jesus pauses; ‘A gulp, confusion, weakness, brokenness, pain, and distress’, sets in. Then God the Father seeing that immense pain and ache decides to show the picture of “Glory” to Jesus- You and Me, no more in the bondage of slavery (burdened with the yoke of sin). This enlightened Jesus’ spirit to say, “not my will, but Your will be done” (Luke 22:42b).
Only through prayer we will say YES to what God wants from us, this response will transform lives, tremble the darkness and display the HOPE OF GLORY.
