Empty Field

When a farmer sees an empty field, he doesn’t go out and wonder/whine why there are no crops. He takes whatever sacks of seeds and starts sowing.

“Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your produce; THEN your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.” Proverbs 3:9-10

I live in a country where right now, the market and economic waves are inconsistent, unstable and at times awfully empty. People ask questions, “I have been struggling for so long and what’s the point of God?” Financial crunch and emptiness are one of the nerve-wracking struggles. It takes room may be because we have misused our times when we had a lot; or genuinely because we are not getting any good business which liquidates cash.

In such times, we sow wisely, we sow for the needy; inclining our ears to Him.

We sow our Time, Emotions, Energy, Words and Hope with the Seeds of the Word of God. We cannot afford to stay victimized, complaining, or even squandering the minimum we have, for temporary delays or defeats. We learn to be givers by tithing, offering and exhibiting kindness. When we choose not to tithe, we deprive ourselves of the best crops that can be harvested in that sowing. Let’s repent if we have abused our wealth; and not given to the House of God.

Choose sowing your seeds in the emptiness.
Choose sowing your time for Him in the famine.
Choose sowing your Words of Faith in the nothingness.
Honor the Lord with your rightful Sowing.

God will do the rest. He created beauty out of nothing “ex-nihilo”. He re-creates sinful beings; to become His Own. This all-powerful Provider ensures that good harvest follows your sowing!
