“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is *steadfast* that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character, Because he trusts and takes refuge in You with hope and confident expectation – Isaiah 26: 3
Prefect peace shows up for anyone whose mind is steadfast on Him. Steadfast mind is a mind that is totally willing to abide in Him, and allowing Him to abide in you. Even when everything shakes they will be like a tree planted along the riverside that never runs dry nor stops yielding fruit. Winter, summer, spring, or autumn; in season or out of good seasons; favorable or unfavorable; low or heigh; appreciated or demeaned; whatever the external tags are; when we constantly make deliberate actions to abide in Him we bear fruits without measure.
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me – John 15:4 A
Abiding in God means; nesting in His Word wherever you are. His Word becomes your foremost desire, your preeminent love, and your supreme content.
It is all about recognizing His presence before you set forth to the realities of this life on earth. Is he here? Should I be here? Should I desire something that He doesn’t? Such questions to self, will let in the Holy Spirit talk to your core and empower you with grace that is in Jesus. Perfect peace is a state of enjoying every promise God has for you in your life. As, you guide yourself to His Word’s pleasure; your blessings will abound and overflow. An overflown blessing erupts praises out of every tribe and tongue to their Creator.
Let us be people who do not waver trusting God. Every testimony we ever hear isn’t just someone’s personal life, it’s the life of the church. You and I are the Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, Esther, Deborah, Ruth, Mary, Hannah, Elizabeth, John .. of this generation. We are here to such a time as this. God who sees our oppressions and oppositions, is right beside us, to keep us in perfect peace, when we let go off our all into His Control and Will.
Wisdom of God gives you discernment to embrace only what He has in store for you. This wisdom enables you not to look at other people’s lives and say you want the same thing. No, this wisdom looks at other people’s victories and testimonies and says, “God did their miracle for them beyond their imagination and God is able and faithful enough to bring in my needed miracle in His time and in His Way”. Let our steadfastness on Him, flood out faith into our lives which will move mountains, part the red seas and drown the oppressions. Let faith be so real as so much to be under our skin.
