If anytime we embrace an orphan mentality, we fail to host, summon and carry the Presence of God. His Presence is His inheritance, and this inheritance doesn’t belong to orphans, but to sons and daughters who are focussed to stay glued to His Kingdom purposes.
“Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you HIS HEIR” – Galatians 4:7
Yes, I get it that people or loved ones need to show some kind of care and love in our desperate needs. When they don’t, we dive into solitude phrases, “There is nobody for me, no body loves me or understands me. Nothing good happens in my life. I have waited so long. God won’t do this for me. Guess He is punishing me.” Slaves and orphans have a very differnt mindset. It’s a perception of utter bondage. Like the Isralites, they tend to say, “It was better for us to be Slaves, at least we wouldn’t go hungry”. Those could haves, should haves, must haves, would haves and all those looking behind moments aren’t suited for a Child of God.
And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” – Galatians 4:6
This verse is the outright confidence that we as Children of God should embrace, and know that His Spirit in us, enables us to summon the Presence of The Father. We are heirs to everything that God is and God has. This doesn’t mean we become God, it just means we are One with Him where His value doesn’t diminish nor does our value supercedes His, who is the Alpha and Omega. Only the Oneness with Him, breathes the inheritance of His Presence to us.
