“You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”
Even while Joseph was thrown into the pit, he not for once screamed, yelled or demanded an answer from his brothers. He was quiet. He understood their evil intentions and let go everything into the hands of the God who carved dreams of greatness in his heart.
Years of rejection, and lost childhood moments were all Joseph’s backlogs. But, he chose to stay calm and faithful. Retaliation wasn’t his attitude, self-defense wasn’t his weapon and revenge wasn’t in his mind. God Honors and Elevates such people so that many others wouldn’t suffer famine when it comes. *choice remains ours*
