Battle Song

When we don’t trust in our own abilities but the Lord’s, we will be assured that we don’t have to fight any battles. Because, they all belong to the Lord.

Israelites were faced with mighty oppositions and all God asked of them was
NOT TO WORRY,
FACE THE VALLEY,
STAND and WATCH,
DON’T FIGHT; and
TRUST HIM.
In addition to following these instructions, the Israelites, willingly decided to worship God of His Holiness and Love. As they sang of His everlasting love, the Lord caused great confusion for their enemies in the battle. They were utterly defeated with none being left out.
Name your enemies one by one, and seek after the Lord just like Jehoshaphat sought after Him. God will speak to those who diligently want to be guarded by His instructions and possess an attitude to yield to His Spirit.
The very words God spoke through the Levite Jahaziel, He wants to speak over your today. As you read this verse know that the God who fought for the Israelites without any soldier raising their swords, will fight for you as you be still and sing new songs unto Him.

2 Chronicles 20:15-17 Jahaziel: Listen to me, all Judah, citizens of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat. The Eternal has responded to your pleading: “Do not fear or worry about this army. The battle is not yours to fight; it is the True God’s. Tomorrow, they will travel through the ascent of Ziz. Meet them at the end of valley before the wilderness of Jeruel. There, I will be watching. Stand and watch, but do not fight the battle. There, you will watch the Eternal save you, Judah and Jerusalem.” Do not fear or worry. Tomorrow, face the army and trust that the Eternal is with you.

See, the Lord brings down every strongholds and struggles in your life as proclaim the Word of God into your situation. Confess that there is no might mightier than the Lord God. Your circumstances are so small. They will be consumed in the Holiness of His Love as you pour your heart out by singing or declaring His Word. Let praise arise, let your song pave the way for God to fight your battles as you stand and watch your enemies crumble down.
