1-Nov-2017: Talk it out

“He consoles us as we endure the pain and hardship of life so that we may draw from His comfort and share it with others in their own struggles”. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

“I don’t have anyone to talk to and I feel I need to talk it out”, said my friend when I took her out to spend sometime with her. She was going through a bad phase through her pregnancy. I got to know this only when I said I wanted to spend time with her.

Cutting the details of the story, when she poured her heart out and exposed every bit of evil acts that was attacking her; prayer was released, a bond of love was created in fellowship and no longer she was alone. There were three people dealing with this battle, my friend, myself and the Holy Spirit.
When the Holy Spirit is there in your team, who wins? Who gets the glory? Jesus!

Soon after a long conversation, confiding and prayer; God started taking over and things began to miraculously change for her in terms of her peace, and joy in the Lord. God’s strength was being made perfect. Yes! there are a lot of battles she is facing now. But, the burden is lifted knowing that He is GOOD and will take care of it all. Depression and negativity vanished; and Joy took it’s absolute place in her soul.

Godly fellowship is so important. Let’s be people who will reach out by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Also, let God give us a heart to expose our struggles, sin and negativity to a brother or sister who will care to walk us to His feet, leave us there and lets us experience Him do the wonders.
