“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.” Zech. 4:6
“Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.” – I Samuel 17:49
Goliath was quickly defeated, in boldness, confidence and assurance. Why? Because David
- fought His fears,
- stayed committed when no one was watching,
- ran to God when His family put him down and,
- took great delight in His precepts.
There is a quickness to your victory when your door is closed in secret time with God. There is swiftness when you walk the path that He has lighted for you, in the valley. There is acceleration to every blessing to take its place in your life, when you hate what He hates. There is a speed to every awaited deliverance when you care, forgive and work on doing good for His people without expectations. The spirit of the Lord settles on you and His might eradicates your weaknesses.
There is a prompt answer to your wait;
He who takes care of the lilies
Considers you more precious than creation itself.
