Truly Loving Him

How many of us, no matter how thirsty we are, will pour water into a unwashed glass and drink from it?

“Not me” Why? Because, the glass isn’t clean on the inside. God is concerned about your inside than what is happening on the outside. Even if the roof falls down with major fights and tiffs, God will not shift his focus from your spirit man, which is on the inside. For when you correct the inside, the outside automatically gets sorted.

How do you do that? Your thoughts are the initiators of everything that happens to your life. When you think like a “Heavenite” what flows out of you will also be heavenly. How can we have good thoughts? Studying, pondering, meditating and believing His Word will tangle a knot of grace, power and soundness to your thoughts.

The diligence to discover Him in His Word comes, when we love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. Without our entire self rising in a faith of love for this Wonderful, Beautiful One, we don’t get washed, cleansed and sanctified on the inside. Hence, our outside would many at times display hypocrisy.

Let’s dive into the treasures of His Richness! Let’s make it our primary focus! Let’s not compromise and allow anything else to take the place of His Word!

“AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL (life), AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND (thought, understanding), AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.’” – MARK‬ ‭12:30‬ ‭
