“And He said to her, “*Daughter*, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”” Mark 5:34
During Jesus’ time people who were sick or demonized were people totally looked down by the society. They were rejected. People who loved and supported them too didn’t have a place.
The woman who suffered with the issue of blood for 12 years, had none as a support. She was despised, looked down and thought low by the rest of the crowd. Yet when Jesus was around something in her told her to care less of her reputation, rejection, lack and uncleanliness. Something about the Presence of Jesus got her up on her feet and fight her way to receive a touch of His Wholeness.
It’s not about pleasing the crowd. Anyone can accept, love and admire the ones that have no issues, those that are likable and good. But, it takes Jesus to stop for a woman who had nothing and assure her that, what she just received by a touch on His garment’s helm, will stay with her forever and ever. #sonship
Let us leave people with that love, not the fake, pleasing, and pampering love. But, the love that will awaken them to stick by Jesus, run after Him and trust Him with their all.
