Being there

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” ‭‭John‬ ‭15:11-12‬‬

Many of us have difficult times and know people who go through difficulties. The best love language we could ever speak loudly without words, is being there for someone to just hold onto.

Today, there is someone who needs your presence to just be assured that they aren’t alone and God’s been good to them because of you. Someone, somewhere, nearby, might need the compassion of God in you. Don’t withdraw, let Him lead you to build deeper relationship for His glory by going an extra-mile.
We discover a deeper relationship with God when we yieldingly love each other with the help of His Spirit.

Now, you might be a person who is generously reaching out to people.
But, you may face the pain of none being that generous with you. Child! You are in the right path. Hardly there were people who reached out to Jesus unless they needed something out of Him.

* The lady who wiped his feet with her hair was disgraced by the society.
* Zacchaeus who just wanted a glimpse of Him was a tax collector and was despised by a whole lot.

So, we really don’t have to be too focused on who is there for us and who is not. At the right time, God ordains people to serve and be kind to us. For that, we need to have a humble heart, to welcome any person without preconceived notions. If we are familiarized and judgmental we have enough and more chances to miss “turning-point” opportunities. Be there for people and love like Jesus. Loving another person like you are loved by Him, sprouts His Joy in you.
