Forget the Former

““Do not remember former things, nor consider things of the past.” Isaiah 43:18

Moses left the PALACE and never for once wanted to go back to Egypt. Israelites were taken out of mistreatment and wanted to back to that land of Slavery.

Encounters with God transforms our mindset and eventually gives us the right desires.

Whenever we lack the understating and insight of the magnitude of His benevolence, we want to go back to toiling. For the lack of insignificant and temporary benefits, we look at our former lives and settle for it.

“Therefore if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

New doesn’t mean easy, it means all the difficulties that you faced before, you will now face it with Christ living in you. It’s the newness of understanding that every challenge which you and I couldn’t overcome before we will now, because He is the ultimate Victor who lives inside of us.
