“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.” Romans 5:8
We need to be aware of the truth that He is aware of us, more than we are about ourselves.
We could never know ourselves like God knows us inside out. Yet knowing that we could be the Judas who kissed Him betrayal, He still loves us, washes our feet and accepts us for the ‘person’ that we are.
There is nothing that we can do for God which would surprisingly put Him in awe of us. God is complete with or without us. He doesn’t need an ounce of help from us. But rather showers grace so that we could be a part of who He is, in totality. If ever God expects anything out of us, it isn’t for His benefit or favor, but ours.
Who would love us so much? Who would want to stay close like Him? Even after knowing that our closets stink and our hearts aren’t right, He chooses to never leave us nor forsake us. When He makes such a choice, remember, we will never stay the same as we were yesterday or today. There is HOPE beyond imagination in Jesus Christ.
If He died for us, when we were soaked in sin, what makes us think that He wouldn’t do more for us in Christ?
