Mundane Goodness

“Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as prey to be torn by their teeth. We have escaped like a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The trap is broken and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” PSALM 124:6-8

Many times our miracles and goodness of God are in the mundane. But because we tend to be so engrossed over the things that aren’t happening according to the way we want, we fail to see the goodness that He pours out every second.

A little uneasiness we tend to think that’s the whole lot of burden. A little off the track happenings we tend to conclude this is how it’s going to be. A little sickness or struggles we feel we have walked a pathway of eternal doom.

When the tunnel is dark, moving forward is possible only if we have spotted the light. A glimpse of it is what keeps us going ahead. If that ray of light isn’t there on what basis are we going to move forward and have hope that this dark tunnel has an end? The ray of light is nothing but our gratitude. It’s a heart of willingness to trust that even when we take firm stands of never compromising on the perfect will of Our Father; He will take care of us.

If the Lord isn’t with us no matter what, a day’s completion is worse than hell. Are we all ending our day going through hell lot of ruckus every single moment? No! We get to smile, laugh, walk, talk and when we are hurt we have tears that come out to release pains and struggles.

Thank God for that child you hold, thank God for the meals that you have, thank God that your car didn’t breakdown, thank God your heart is beating, thank God that you are not single anymore, thank God that you have someone who calls and checks on you. Thank God that you are not in the streets begging. Thank God you have never been persecuted like the Christians in many nations. Thank God you have a church, and brothers and sisters in Christ.
