“So Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife. And he went in to her, and the Lord gave her conception, and she bore a son. Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day without a redeemer, and may his name be renowned in Israel!” – Ruth 4:13-14
Just as Christ will wed His betrothed bride, the church, Boaz as the kinsmen redeemer, married Ruth and she entered into the lineage of Jesus Christ. This is all about the mercy and grace of God; giving to us what we don’t deserve ; blessing us abundantly and richly.
Ruth went to gather grain that was left on the field. Boaz told his servants to let Ruth gather even around the piles of grain and make her work easier by dropping some full heads of grain for her. Little did Ruth know that one day, she will own the same field. And Yes, One day, she will own the owner of the field. God’s package!
In times of great need, God will show you His immense love through little miracles. If you don’t give up and trust Him, His favor will fall on you and He’ll order others to make things easier for you. In due season you’ll inherit the land where you had to glean. And Yes, the Owner, will add to you another portion of Himself. His residence in You expands to another area of your life.
Don’t give up when the outside is dry, difficult and terrific. Ruth willingly stepped into the unknown with trust and where she gleaned in patience, she reaped the honor of being an ancestor of Jesus.
