Work together

“Now we know that ALL things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.” – Romans 8:28

I was recently reflecting back on those days of my immaturity where I couldn’t conceal a matter, hold my tongue and not regularly give a benefit of doubt to certain gestures.

It was pathetic.

Thanking God that I, along with mentors and friends have come so far to realize that apart from love and forgiveness everything else is sham. When I decided to change and slowly walked forward, I crossed paths of many who spoke ill of my actions and assumed way beyond I could think of.

I have felt bad, seen people hurt and also witnessed how God in His might used those instances to get me on my knees. One thing I know – every relationship you have lost because of a gossip or a slip of tongue, immaturity, anger or frustration; God will restore if that’s a part of His plan.

I have seen this happen over and over again. People I thought would never be a part of my “dearly loved” friends list are solid like pillars. People I thought would stay, left. The way God filters your lives with His awe, in the matter of relationships is just wow. So all we have to do is, stay true to Him and our God-ordained friendships. If we do, we will never come to a point where we have to defend ourselves. We will be easily understood because of the authenticity of our hearts.

Today, take sometime and thank God for every relationships that has been reconciled by God. Thank Him for pouring love into your hearts for your friends and vice-versa. Seek for grace to love irrespective of responses.
